How we use your information
Last updated: 20 October 2026
Who we are
This website is run by GMD Clarity Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17529106), registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZC278934. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in it at query@gmdclarity.co.uk.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, for example when you email us or book a conversation:
- your name, email address and phone number, if you include it
- your job title and the business you work for
- anything you tell us in your message or during a call
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it, and why we’re allowed to
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To deliver work we agree with you or your organisation. Our lawful basis is the contract with you or your organisation.
- To keep proper business and accounting records. Our lawful basis is our legal obligations.
We will not sell your information or use it to send you marketing you haven’t asked for.
Client data
When a business works with us, any data it shares about its own staff, customers or operations is handled under a separate written agreement with that business. In that work we act as its processor: we use the data only on its instructions, keep it secure, never use it to train AI models, and delete or return it when the work ends.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted suppliers to run our business, who act on our instructions:
- Google (Google Workspace) for email, calendar and document storage
- our website hosting provider
- our accountants, for business and tax records
Some of these suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use legally recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations. We will only otherwise share your information if the law requires it.
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with them.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to two years after our last contact, unless we start working together. Information connected to client work and our business records is kept for as long as we need it for that work and then for up to six years, to meet accounting and legal requirements.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to have it transferred to you or someone else. To use any of these rights, email query@gmdclarity.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
